Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton Looking To Marry Next Spring

This year has been an incredible year for Miranda and the success is still moving in full force as she was nominated for 5 CMA Awards this morning out of the 7 categories that were announced. She will be in New York tomorrow morning on ABC's Good Morning America to announce the remaining nominations with Dierks Bentley for the 44th Annual CMA Awards.
On top of all this success, Miranda is also getting prepared to marry Blake Shelton who has a very successful country six-pack right now. Miranda is featured in USA Today in the LifeLine Live Section regarding her upcoming wedding. Blake has mentioned recently that they will probably get married in May next year and today Miranda said "We're trying to figure out the final day. We can't nail anything down right now. We're looking at May. " She adds, "Next spring sometime. That'd be nice." She also went on to say "We're taking it slow. I only get engaged one time. It kind of the fun to enjoy it. We're not in a rush."
Both Miranda & Blake's careers are on fire right now but the couple is strong and they have a great balance on life. Miranda says, "We are fortunate that we have these amazing jobs but we really if we never sang another note, we'd be just as happy. That's why we're both confident our marriage will last forever. We're going to be fine and normal when this is over."
Of course the burning question after "when are you getting married?" is then typically followed up with "when are you having kids?" Miranda was asked and her response: "I just can't imagine at this point. We have a lot of dogs - five dogs, three go on the road. They're my dogs but now they're ours. I'm sure later on we'll talk about having a family. I wouldn't want to bring a kid into this crazy world right now."
Don't forget to catch Miranda Lambert on Good Morning America tomorrow morning to announce the remaining CMA Awards Nominees. You can also catch both her and Blake Shelton tomorrow night on ABC's 3-Hour special CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock beginning at 8pm EST.
