Fan Review: Rascal Flatts Concert

Thanks to our friends at JC Penney, we held a contest for 4 lucky fans and a guest to win tickets to a Rascal Flatts concert in Chicago, IL AND Meet the Band!! Scott, one of our winners, was kind enough to write a review and share some photos.

Rascal Flatts Prove There Is Nothing Like This!
After an hour and forty-five minute drive to Tinley Park, my cousin and I headed towards will call to pick up our tickets for our second Rascal Flatts show this year.  In front of us at will call I noticed two people getting a Rascal Flatts VIP Experience lanyard and could not wait to get mine!  The tickets and lanyards came trough the will-call window and I was ready to meet the band!  We took some pictures in front of the tour semis and found Samantha who also won from CountryMusicRocks.net  We met up and got to know each other as we waited for the gates to open.  After a pit stop the group of us walked into the JC Penney tent!  The tent was full of goody bags that held a shirt, poster, and can koozie.  They had free drinks and Mexican inspired foods!  As we waited we met another couple and had some interesting conversations.

From the tent we heard Chris Young beginning to perform and the anticipation was killing me to meet the guys! Finally we got the OK to go backstage!  Gary, Joe Don and Jay were extremely nice!  They shook my hand and said "thanks for coming" before we posted for our picture.  We received a pre-signed gift and headed to the concert.  As we went towards our seats, Kellie Pickler began performing.  Kellie is a great performer!  She moves around the stage while singing hits like "Don't You Know You're Beautiful", but also captivates the crowd while sitting on a stool singing "I Wonder".  After singing a few of her own songs she did a tribute to Dolly and headed off the stage.  The crowd was waiting for the boys to come on for what seemed like forever!

"Bob That Head" began playing and Rascal Flatts had begun!  They played most of their singles in order of release from "Praying For Daylight" to "Why Wait".  All three of the band members can move around and get the crowd involved!  After two hours of singing, they called out Kellie and Chris to sing "Summer Nights"!  The concert then came to an end and the boys headed off to Kentucky while the rest of us went back home!  I cannot wait until next July when I see Gary,  Joe Don, and Jay again at Country Thunder.  Thanks CountryMusicRocks.net and JC Penney for one unforgettable night!

Here are a few photos from Scott for y'all to enjoy!
