Justin Moore's New Album 'Outlaws Like Me' Debuts At #1

OUTLAWS LIKE ME, the new album from Valory Music Co. artist Justin Moore, debuts as the #1 BEST SELLING Country album according to Billboard’s Scoundscan chart. The new set also enters Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart at #5. The 3rd highest Country debut this year, beating first week numbers from many superstar artists, including recent releases from Ronnie Dunn and Sara Evans.

Outpaced this year by only Brad Paisley’s THIS IS COUNTRY MUSIC and Alison Krauss and Union Station’s PAPER AIRPLANE, this impressive debut further underscores Justin Moore’s status as one of the hottest artists in country music.

Moore kicked off the street week for his sophomore album  in New York City, making appearances on “Fox News”, “ABC News” and “Better TV.” He also interviewed with radio and television stations around the country via satellite from a boat in the lake in Central Park.

Critics have lauded this Arkansas native’s backwoods charm, prompting The Washington Post to describe his music as “consistently brawny and upbeat, reminiscent at times of Hank Williams Jr.” and The New York Times hails him as a “a strong and versatile singer,” as well as a songwriter whose lyrical “fantasies of regional pride and class revenge are the meat and potatoes of modern country music”.

The album’s lead single If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away is also headed for the #1 spot.  It is the fastest rising single of his career sitting at #4 this week and has sold nearly 300,000 copies to date.

Kenny Chesney Sees Eye To Eye With Costa Del Mar Sunglasses

Everything gets hotter when the sun goes down. But for those who don’t wear their shades at night, Kenny Chesney and Costa Del Mar sunglasses share a vision of how to heat things up in the daylight hours too, while also benefiting coastal conservation.

As Chesney might have sung it, Costa sells no shoes, no shirts — just sunglasses. But these aren’t just any sunglasses. The five handcrafted Kenny Chesney Limited Edition Costa sunglasses feature Chesney’s signature and unique hand-drawn artwork etched into each frame style, illustrating some of his favorite song lyrics and past tours. (His design work adorns the packaging too.) With a portion of each pair’s sales presented to the Coastal Conservation Association, they range from $149 to $249 and are available from, various retailers and at Chesney’s shows.

“The relationship with Costa and what they stand for goes hand in hand with the music I make,” said the six-time CMA Awards winner, whose current BNA Records album Hemingway’s Whiskey features the No. 1 hits “The Boys of Fall,” “Live a Little” and “Somewhere With You.” “It’s important for all generations to be able to enjoy the ocean like I did.”

Costa agrees. “Our partnership with Kenny and Costa actually stretches back to late 2009, when Costa came onboard as the official partner to launch,” said Brett Palmer, President/CEO, AbiJack Management.

According to Palmer, Chesney mentioned at that time how he’d love to help design his own line of Costa sunglasses. Then, in 2010, Al Perkinson, Costa VP of Marketing, approached AbiJack and Chesney about that very idea. This led to talk of how to integrate Costa with Chesney’s 2011 tour.  And now? They’re “Goin’ Coastal” together.

“What’s really cool is all our partnerships have happened organically,” said Chesney’s manager Clint Higham, President, Morris Artists Management. “None are forced.”
Word has spread through e-mail blasts, special tents set up at all of Chesney’s 2011 “Goin’ Coastal” tour stops and Facebook pages for both Chesney and Costa. All seems to be going swimmingly: At Tampa, Fla., one of the first dates of the tour, Costa sold more sunglasses than they ever have at a one-day event, according to Palmer. Plus, Perkinson noted, radio stations are giving away prize packs of tickets and Costas at each tour stop.

“We’re traditionally geared more toward men and toward fishing, and Kenny has helped broaden our audience to more women and more of a coastal lifestyle,” said Perkinson. “And we’re helping get him more into the conservation side of things. So I think it’s a real mutually beneficial partnership.”

Taylor Swift Celebrates Her 8th #1 Single With "Mean" & Earns Rave Reviews For Her Speak Now Tour

4-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift this week celebrates her 8th #1 record, as “Mean,” the third single from her Triple-Platinum-plus Speak Now album, tops the Mediabase / Country Aircheck Country Singles Chart, becoming her 3rd consecutive #1 song from the album (released on Big Machine Records). “Mean” also holds the #1 video slots at both at CMT (2 weeks) and GAC (3 weeks).

Taylor played to over 110,000 fans at Boston’s Gillette Stadium over the weekend, with her two back-to-back sold-out shows capping the first month of the North American leg of the SPEAK NOW World Tour.

On Saturday, the Boston night skies opened and Taylor played the second half of that night’s show in the pouring rain, soaking wet. Midway through “You Belong With Me” the light rain became a downpour, but Taylor (the first and only female artist to ever sell out Gillette) never missed a beat, getting soaked to the skin but continuing the outdoor show as 55,000 drenched fans sang along with her.

One month into the tour, Taylor’s Speak Now show is already garnering universally high praise from critics around the nation:

“One of the genre's most ambitious acts has created one of the genre's most ambitious tours. Broadway-inspired…the two-hour production was an overwhelming experience. There's an enormous amount of detail that worked to make the Speak Now Tour a sort of next step in country concert presentation….it blended the pacing, the music and the artist's personality in a way that transfixed. It's a production - and an ability - that her peers in the business will continue to study.” – Billboard

“Topping her elaborate ‘Fearless World Tour’ would seem a tall order, but the ‘Speak Now’ show didn’t just clear the bar, it left it behind in a cloud of spent rocket fuel.” -- Country Aircheck

“What a show….Swift proved herself to be in strong voice right out of the gate. The cumulative effect of it all was jaw-dropping. The jet engine-level shrieking that greeted every shake, shimmy and smile Swift offered suggests that she is an artist completely in tune with what her audience wants from her.” – Buffalo News

“Pop-country phenom Taylor Swift kept a sold-out crowd at Gillette Stadium spellbound last night, tightening her iron grip on music with each note.”  -- Boston Herald

“Swift delivered a spectacle worthy of the pandemonium. She's now a performer as ambitious and polished, if not as provocative, as Madonna or Britney Spears or Lady Gaga, using her music as the basis for a theatrically minded show that didn't miss a trick. Swift's show kept the crowd dazzled and charmed, taking in the sights even as they sang along at a volume that competed with the sound coming from the stage.”  --The Oakland Press (Detroit)

“A visual and auditory feast. If you’re on the fence about whether to go, get in the car. You won’t be disappointed. In fact, if I could, I’d drive another 100 miles to see it all again. I already thought she was brilliant. Now I think she’s a genius.” – Palm Beach Post

“A show in the truest sense of the word – a pop concert and musical theater production rolled into one very impressive package….a seamless, captivating performance. Swift has been named country music’s top entertainer a couple of times. After the great “Speak Now” tour, look for that to happen again.” – Lincoln (NE) Journal Star

“A visually striking, sonically superb show. At only 21 years old, Swift may be better than anyone at mixing pop hooks with country storytelling for instant sing-alongs.” – Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel

“Full of energy, emotion, and spectacular production….a polished, attention- grabbing night of entertainment. No one walked away disappointed.” – Music Row

“Watching Taylor Swift there's no mystery why she was the one who went from little-known Anthem singer to one of the world's biggest stars. It's how poised and genuine she is, both on the stage and strolling the crowd grabbing hands and offering hugs.” – Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

“A high-paced, colorful success. Taylor Swift really does know how to walk the line. Not the line between country and pop, but the line between glam and natural, between wow and what's up, between Broadway and back porch. Her greatest triumph was her remarkable ability to obliterate the lines between the various factions in her audience and connect with all of them.” – Minneapolis Star-Tribune

“If anyone knows any reason why Taylor Swift’s sold-out concert last night at Nationwide Arena wasn’t as an impressive display of girl (and young woman) power that’s been seen and heard in recent memory, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.” – Columbus Dispatch

“Swift impressively managed to shrink the arena into an intimate space to tell her stories to her ‘Florida friends.’”– Orlando Sentinel

“Every part of her two-hour performance - from the costume changes to the fake snow to the fire-wielding aerialists - felt like the product of a talented young woman firing on all cylinders. Swift still felt every bit as likeable and down-to-earth as ever. For their part, the crowd of more than 15,000 treated Swift with utter reverence, singing along or listening quietly, depending on the number.” – St. Paul Pioneer Press

“An astonishing new live show — which might be the most elaborate one staged by a country artist since Garth Brooks flew on wires.” – Tennessean

“Swift set a high bar. The country-pop singer thrilled a sold-out crowd during an endearing two-hour performance that never lacked for charm, or for that matter, talent.” – Hartford Courant

“Near-flawless. Swift’s new production puts the show in showstopper.” – Omaha World Herald

Craig Morgan Sends New Single "This Ole Boy" To Country Radio

Craig Morgan has brought many hit singles to country music listeners over the years such as "Redneck Yacht Club", "That's What I Love About Sundays", "Bonfire" and many, many more.  Craig is back and giving his fans more great music as he just released his brand new single "This Ole Boy" to country radio which will be on his forthcoming studio album.

"This Ole Boy" is an upbeat classic country song of a boy who is in love with a girl that is "hotter than South Georgia in July".  It's a sweet summer tune that is simple yet memorable coupled with Craig's seasoned vocals.  With catchy lines like "She's my shotgun rider, I'm the lucky dog beside her" and "This ole boy got it goin' on, got the good Lord smilin' on me", you have yourself a country song that will remain as a keeper on your playlist.

The new track is written by Ben Hayslip, Rhett Atkins & Dallas Davidson.  In a recent interview, Craig told us he fell in love with the song as soon as he heard it.  He also told us that his upcoming album he is working on now is sonically the best work he's ever done, with stronger songs and that in years to come people will talk about this new album as the one that did something new for him.  We are excited for Craig's new album which is anticipated for release later this year.  Listen to our entire interview by clicking HERE.

Be sure to start requesting "This Ole Boy" at your favorite country radio station.  Keep up to date with Craig & see if he is coming to an area near you by visiting his official website,
