ACM Lifting Lives Cause For June Is "Country Beats Cancer" Featuring Brad Paisley & Toby Keith

ACM Lifting Lives® announced today that the June theme for its monthly “My Cause” web feature is “Country Beats Cancer.”  The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies.

ACM Lifting Lives repeated the My Cause opportunity in 2011 by encouraging artists to speak on camera about their favorite charities at the 2011 ACM Awards.  My Cause is a way for ACM Lifting Lives to tangibly demonstrate the Academy’s support of country music artists.  Many people have been helped by these fantastic charities, and ACM Lifting Lives bolsters that support by increasing awareness and funding for these very deserving causes.  Last year, ACM Lifting Lives gave more than $25,000.00 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make donations in addition to driving fan awareness.

This month, “My Cause: Country Beats Cancer” is highlighting causes that help support cancer patients during their treatments. Donations can be made to each charity using a donate link available with each video. Below are the artists and causes included in the June “Country Beats Cancer” feature.

June: “Country Beats Cancer”
Toby Keith  – Toby Keith Foundation
Brad Paisley  – St. Jude Target House
