Chris Young's New Album Release 'NEON' Debut At #2 On Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart


Over the last week more than 72,000 Chris Young fans confirmed their favorite color is NEON!  The Grammy nominated singer/songwriter's just-released third album sold more than 72,000 copies in its opening week, according to the Nielsen SoundScan.

Declared by USA Today as "one of country's most reliable hitmakers," Chris Young's NEON debuts at #2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums charts and #4 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, marking the singer's top sales chart position ever.

After learning the new of his album debut, Young shares: "I am completely blown away by the response and am so grateful for my awesome fans who give me the chance to make and share my music every day."

"Tomorrow," makes the leap to #2 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and Country Aircheck.  Young's RIAA certified GOLD lead single has sold over 615,000 downloads, making it his best-selling digital track to date.

Next up for Young is an appearance on ABC-TV's Jimmy Kimmel Live! on July 27 where he'll perform songs from the recently released NEON.

NEON is produced by James Stroud and features 10 songs, including 7 that are co-penned by Young.  A deluxe version of the album is available at iTunes and features two bonus tracks plus a photo gallery.

  1. I am so excited for Chris Young. This is a wonderful CD. I love all of the songs on this CD and I think it is worthy of album honors at the Grammy's and I would love to finally see some major awards for Him. This is top notch and every song is worthy to be a single.
