New Date For ABC TV Special "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock" Now On 8/14


The three-hour CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock TV special, originally scheduled to air on ABC-TV August 7, has been moved back a week to Aug. 14 at 8pm ET. The original date had coincided with the Teen Choice Awards, which will feature several country acts.

The 3-hour special will include Alabama performing with Brad Paisley; Jason Aldean collaborating with Kelly Clarkson; a late-night jam with Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow; Josh Turner singing with "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery; "Idol" runner up Lauren Alaina joining Martina McBride; Gretchen Wilson partying with Big & Rich; and Alan Jackson performing with Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, Sara Evans, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town.
